When you are not sure what to send

It is hard to think about flowers when someone has died. You do not need to know the names of tributes or flowers. Tell us a little about the person, the colours or flowers they loved, and roughly what you would like to spend, and we will suggest something fitting.

We need the date and time of the funeral, and where the flowers should go: usually the funeral director, or the church, chapel or crematorium. We will make sure the tribute is there in good time.

Please check the spelling of names carefully. We write the card exactly as you give it to us. If you would rather talk than fill in a form, ring the shop.

Kinds of tribute

What people often send

Each one is made to order, so the price depends on its size and the flowers in it. Ask us and we will give you a price before you decide.

Sheaf

Flowers tied together and laid flat, to rest on or beside the coffin. Simple and traditional.

Posy

A small, round arrangement, often from a grandchild or a friend, or for the grave afterwards.

Wreath

A ring of flowers and foliage, the oldest of tributes. It can be closed and full, or open with a single spray.

Coffin spray

A long arrangement that lies along the top of the coffin, usually from the closest family. Single-ended or double-ended.

Letters and names

Words such as MUM, NAN or GRANDAD, or a name, spelt out in flowers. These take longer to make, so give us as much notice as you can.

Sympathy flowers

A bouquet sent to the family’s home, to say you are thinking of them.

    We help you choose, and tell you the price before anything is made.

  3. We make it and take it there

    Your tribute is made by hand and delivered with your card, in good time for the service.
